This long silver tone chain necklace is a bright antiqued silver color. The long textured chain measures 36 inches and can be doubled over since it has a clasp. Spaced throughout the chain are four each of 1. 25 inch triple bar pieces that are textured rope design and connected balls. It has a nice weight to it but not heavy. The fancy fold over clasp is original to the necklace and is still functional.

The stamped metal tag is marked Roget.

This metal necklace is circa 1960 and made by a high end costume jewelry maker of the time. The first half of the 20th century was the heyday for well made costume jewelry sold from fine department stores to Woolworth, usually made in Europe or the United States. The manufacture and quality of costume jewelry deteriorated in the latter part of the century making this era the last with enduring products.
