Taking up a unique position in the trail running sphere, Norda's 005 is a limited production design, made from the best and most-advanced possible materials and already with race-proven credentials. At only 214 grams, the featherlight 005 is the lightest long distance trail shoe in existence. The upper construction is a bio-based Dyneema, renowned for its nigh on indestructible strength, with a wider mesh to increase breathability. Dyneema laces have also been employed for a secure and steadfast lockdown, alongside a perforated microfibre suede lay-flat tongue. Refined and stripped back, the 005 has small pillows on the lateral and medial walls of the collar to secure the heel. Finally the midsole is a single compound Arnitel TPEE which is highly responsive and cushioning, yet with superior durability - likely to outlive the competition by hundreds of miles. Finally the Vibram Megagrip Elite outsole with 4mm lugs is the most bang-up-to-date technology available. All in the 005 is an astonishing accomplishment for this trail outlier, Norda have surpassed themselves.
