This stunning Coral Copper Washed Silk Shantung is like the finest clay of a master potter. Shantung is very similar in weight and crispness to a taffeta, but has the hallmark slubs of a dupioni. Since this fabric has been washed it is now very soft and relaxed. It has a very regular wrinkled texture that could be ironed out. This fabric still hold a crisp line while being much softer than our other shantungs. It is also lightweight and has an easy drape. This fabric would make a beautiful mother of the bride dress, tailored jacket, or Bridgerton inspired gown!
