Vintage 1940’s gorgeous 2pc suit in a Dusky Rose colour.
This fabulous suit, if it doesn’t attract you by the Dusky Rose colour it will certainly captivate you with its beautiful soutache work, oh and then the petal peplum too.
The intricate soutache detailing on the jacket, not only covers the front panels,  but also the petal peplum to the front and the back. 12 x perfectly covered   Small buttons adorn the front with fabric roulette loops to fasten each one. The original belt is faced and has a covered buckle. Small cuffs to the sleeves with a press stud fastening.The skirt has a side metal zip, and hook n eye fastening. Pleats to the centre front and back.  
We love suits, as they are so versatile, beautiful as a suit but equally fabulous when worn separately. Pair the jacket over a simple dress or wear with wide leg pants for alternative ensembles.

Fair Vintage Condition - Flaws to note : some nibbles to the jacket neckline, a hole to the front of skirt ( will need backing ). Although this suit has some flaws, it is still sturdy and very wearable with plenty of exciting times ahead. Priced gently
