Vintage 1940's As is sublime 2 pc suit in a beautiful rich tomato red. The 2 pc consists of a Jacket and Skirt and features an American dressmakers label to the interior ' Braunwell Ltd'. The Jacket shares a typical 1940's silhouette and has a strong shoulder line enhanced by shoulder pads, pointed collar, button front with matching buttons, full length sleeve, longline bodice and faux pocket detailing. The jacket is fully lined. The skirt is an a line shape with 2 small splits to the hem on both side seams. The skirt has previously been altered at the waist to enlarge it and a modern nylon zip installed. This could ne replaced and made smaller if required or desired. Please see the condition report below, priced accordingly. 

A fabulous staple piece for any 1940's wearer for a show stopping ensemble. Great worn as a 2pc or equally as fabulous worn as separate's for everyday wear.

 Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - The Jacket is in lovely condition with a few nibbles and presents beautifully. The skirt has been heavily altered with an additional extra added to the waistband, new zip and seams let out to make the skirt larger. You could take this back in to wear as it once was if desired. We would recommend getting this suit dry cleaned as it has been in storage.  Although flawed this set still presents beautifully. Priced accordingly.
