Vintage 1940's sensational ' Fred A Block' 2pc suit in a delightful duck egg blue.  This is a stunning set by a well known designer and maker and is a rare find to find the set still together. The suit showcases a classic 1940's American silhouette and oozes Hollywood stylised glamour. The Jacket has a rounded collar and matching button front. It features exquisite beadwork detailing to the yoke and to one of the sleeve edges. The Jacket has a strong shoulder line with additional internal shoulder pads which accentuate that classic and iconic nipped in waist. The skirt is a simple a line shape and fastens with a metal side zip and button fastening to the waist. A great set that can be worn as intended a 2pc or styled with other separates to create varying ensembles. 

A wonderful addition to any 1940's loving ladies wardrobe or vintage fashion collector. A great treat to yourself, friend or loved one.

Very Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - 3 tiny marks to the skirt and some very slight bead loss. These flaws do not detract from the look or wearability of the piece. The suit presents beautifully and is ready to wear.
