The Rome Ravine 2026 combines a Free-the-Ride Camber profile with a directional shaping ethos. The nose sees earlier rocker for float in soft snow, while camber underfoot retains pop and bite. It also uses 3D shaping in the nose to soften turn initiation and reduce hang ups.

Carbon stringers lend liveliness and snap, while Flax Impact Plates near the bindings help with shock absorption and durability. A fast sintered base gives solid glide whether ripping groomers or charging variable terrain.

Construction

This board is built on a lightweight wood core (poplar, etc.) tuned for strength and responsiveness. The layup uses Biax fiberglass below the core and Triax above to balance forgiveness and torsional control. Carbon reinforcements are integrated to boost energy return.

The Flax Impact Plates are placed under the inserts to reduce stress on the core and distribute load. Durable sidewalls and reinforced edges ensure longevity under aggressive riders. The sintered base is dense and wax-friendly, providing speed and resilience.
