The GlitterBug® GBX UV Disclosure Centre Trainer’s Kit is a complete hygiene training and contamination awareness system designed to demonstrate the importance of effective hand washing and surface cleaning. Using UV light technology, the kit provides an engaging and highly visual way to highlight missed areas during hand washing and show how germs and contamination can spread between surfaces and people.

At the centre of the kit is the GlitterBug® GBX UV Disclosure Centre, which creates a controlled dark viewing environment for clearer and more impactful UV demonstrations. When used with the included GlitterBug® Potion and UV torch, any lotion left behind after washing glows brightly under UV light, instantly revealing areas that have not been cleaned properly.

The included GlitterBug® Powder is used to demonstrate cross contamination and the spread of germs across surfaces, hands, and shared objects. The retractable powder brush makes it easy to apply the powder during demonstrations and training sessions.

How to Use – Hand Washing Demonstration

Step 1 – Apply the GlitterBug® Potion

Rub a small amount of GlitterBug® Potion evenly over the hands.

Step 2 – Wash Hands Normally

Wash and dry hands using a normal hand washing routine.

Step 3 – Inspect Under UV Light

Place hands inside the GBX Disclosure Centre and use the UV torch to inspect the hands.

Step 4 – Reveal Missed Areas

Any glowing residue highlights areas that were not washed properly.

How to Use – Surface Contamination Demonstration

Step 1 – Apply GlitterBug® Powder

Use the retractable powder brush to lightly apply the powder to surfaces or objects.

Step 2 – Demonstrate Germ Transfer

Allow participants to touch surfaces to show how contamination spreads.

Step 3 – Clean the Area

Clean the surface as normal.

Step 4 – Inspect with UV Light

Use the UV torch to reveal any remaining glowing residue.
