Built on a concept of high-quality Japanese fabrics and a commitment to authentic craftsmanship. Originally produced for many years as a ROCOCO exclusive line of JAPAN BLUE JEANS, it relaunches in 2026 under the name “Blue refabric.” Production centers around partner factories of JAPAN BLUE JEANS. The name combines “Blue” — representing Japanese denim — with “Refabric,” a coined word blending Republic and Fabric. Inspired by the idea of a “Blue Republic,” the brand honors Japan’s textile heritage while creating garments that bring out the individuality of the wearer.









Firm structure and refined sheen from high-density weaving
The fabric uses a high-density dump cloth composed of 69% cotton and 31% polyester. Woven tightly, it achieves a firm, structured feel with resilience, while a subtle surface sheen adds refinement to its workwear-inspired design.

Lightweight and easy to wear, it layers comfortably over T-shirts or shirts. The natural texture of cotton is enhanced by the functional benefits of polyester, making it resistant to wrinkles and easy to care for. Suitable for long seasons, especially through spring and early autumn.









Faithful to the appeal of the 1st type
The front features the signature pleats of the 1st type, allowing for ease of movement while creating a structured, classic appearance.

Metal buttons add a strong presence, enhancing the vintage character while ensuring smooth fastening.



A single flap pocket on the left chest serves as an iconic detail that reinforces its vintage identity.

Rivets throughout use a punched style, emphasizing authenticity down to the smallest details.





Adjusters at the hem allow for silhouette customization, adding character to the back view in line with classic 1st type design.
