Vintage 1940's sensational American wool 2pc suit in a warm rust. This is such an exquisite example of a classic 1940's set oozing Hollywood glamour. The jacket has a very strong shoulder line with shoulder pads enhancing and accentuating the silhouette. The jacket is edge to edge in design with no collar, it has a sensational stitched yoke detailing, long sleeves and fastens with a single front button. The skirt is simple in shape and design and has a central pleat to the hem. It fastens with a side metal zip and button fastening. The suit is in such a hard-to-find iconic warm rust and is great for wearing in the autumn and winter months. It looks great paired with chocolate browns, Cadbury purple, chartreuse, bottle greens and even berries. The set is extremely versatile and looks fabulous worn as is or can be worn with contrasting separates for varying ensembles. 

A must have addition to any 1940's loving ladie's collection. A lovely treat to yourself, friend or loved one.

Very Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - Some light grazing as expected with age and some wear to the lining which can't be seen when worn. These flaws do not detract from the wearability of the piece. The set presents beautifully and is ready to wear.
