Will this fit if I have a factory bumper sensor or lower valance?

This installs at the structural frame level behind the bumper fascia, so sensors and valances won't interfere. You're just adding stiffness to the backing structure — your existing bumper components stay in place.

Do I need to remove the bumper to install this?

You'll need access to the mounting points behind the bumper, so removal or at least partial disassembly is the way to go. It's not a slip-on piece — plan on working at the frame attachment level.

What about paint or finish prep before install?

This is raw material when it arrives. Sand and prep the mounting surfaces on your vehicle, then seal any bare metal after bolting it down. Paint is optional depending on whether you want it visible or hidden behind your fascia.
